International Tourism Group manage Visit València with full representation in the European markets

The city of Valencia is a destination that offers more than just sun and beach.

València is home to a wealth of historical monuments, an internationally renowned gastronomy which is actively working on projects to offer to its visitors a much more responsible and sustainable tourism. This year València proposes many plans to communicate and promote the city as a favorite destination in Europe. Some examples: Fallas, its most internationally renowned regional holiday, València Marathon as a point of reference for athletes from all over Europe, as well as the Michelin Guide Star Award Gala. In addition, the city is preparing to host the Capital of Design in 2022.

International Tourism Group oversees all European communication for Visit València, both public relations and commercial communication. From Spain, the local team co-ordinates València’s communication in the destination’s markets: Spain, Portugal, France, Germany, Belgium, Italy, England, and Holland. Javier Fernández in charge of the European coordination: “Visit València are working on various ambitious projects throughout this year. We are excited to be able to activate these exciting actions that will make everyone talk about the city and boosting their desire to visit it.”

Visit València is a non-profit Foundation, in which València City Council, the Chamber of Commerce, Feria València and the Valencian Business Confederation participate, together with most of the local companies in the tourism sector. Since its creation in 1991, the Foundation has contributed to the evolution of tourism in the city, favoring employment, tourism development and an increase in its economic impact, factors that have had a direct repercussion on the wellbeing of Valencian society.
